How to Count Legs or Pin Of Ic ?

Today I am going to share a very easy method for you. With the help of which you can easily count the pin or ball of leg or ball type ic which is applied in mobile. How to Count Legs or Pin Of Ic ?

How to Count Legs or Pins of Leg-Type IC?

The leg ic is counted in anticlockwise direction from the nose point in the digits, as you see in the picture.
Note. The position of the nose cut point varies in ic, just remember the arrow which rotates anticlockwise.
How to Count Balls of Ball-Type IC?

The ball ic is counted from both clock and anticlockwise, in digit (1,2,3,4,5__) in row clockwise direction and alphabet (A, B, C_ _) in columns anticlockwise direction.

Hot Testing Method

What is Hot Testing Method

When the active voltage coming at the tips of the component installed in the mobile pcb, check by giving 3.7 voltage from the dc supply machine in the mobile phone. So this is called hot testing. These voltages are active voltages, so the section that needs to be checked, that section has to be activated, like before you check the spekar tips, you have to activate the spekar by playing the song.

In this testing, by setting the multimeter in dc (20v) mode, placing the black prob on pcb ground, testing the tips from red probe. So one value is found, that value can be different on the tips of each section. The value and its name in all the sections are written below, if it is more or less than that, then there is a fault in that section of the mobile. This value is not fixed, it may be less, more.
  • Ear Phone Connector Tip (+ , -) during working: 1.2V to 3.0V
  • Loud Speaker / Ringer Connector Tip (+,-) during working: . 1.2V to 3.0V
  • MIC Connector Tip (MIC) (+): 1.8 to 3.0
  • Battery Connector Tip (+): 3.7
  • Display light IC: CPU (EN Signal ) 1.2V to 2.8 V
  • Display Connector Supply Pins: 1.8V to 2.8V
  • Display & Touch Connector Signal Pins During Working: . 1.8V to 3.3V
  • Camera Connector Supply Pins: 1.8 to 2.9
  • Camera Connector Signal Pins During Working: 1.8V to 3.3V
  • Key Tip (Row and Column) One Side: 1.8 to 2.8V
  • Charger Connector Tip (Vcharge )When charger Connected : 5V to 6V
  • Power ON / OFF Switch Point (+): 1.5V to 4.2VMIC Connector Tip (MIC) (+): 1.8 to 3.0
  • SIM Card Connector Pin 1 (VSim) When SIM Connected: 1.8 to 3.0V
  • Micro SD Card Connector(VDD) When MMC Connected : 1.2V to 3.0V

Cold Testing Method

What is Cold testing method

When riding on the tips of the component installed in the mobile pcb, without giving voltage to the mobile phone and checking it, it is called cold testing.

In this testing, when testing the tips from the black probe by placing the red prob of the multimeter on the ground of pcb, you get a value, that value can be different on the tips of each section. The value and its name in all the sections are written below, if it is more or less than that, then there is a fault in that section of the mobile. This value is not fixed but will be 50 + - then let's assume bad
